S\u00e3o 49 metros de hist\u00f3ria, lenda e resist\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parece sa\u00edda de um conto de fadas, por isso muitos a chamam de \u201ca verdadeira torre da Rapunzel\u201d. Mas por tr\u00e1s de sua beleza, esconde-se um passado grandioso: acredita-se que foi ali, perto desse lugar sagrado, que o <a><\/a>rei Alfredo, o Grande, reuniu suas tropas antes da batalha que mudaria o destino da Inglaterra\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O ano era 878. Os vikings avan\u00e7avam. Mas Alfredo n\u00e3o fugiu.
