Elas pertenciam \u00e0 gal\u00e1xia Sagittarius Dwarf, nossa vizinha, que est\u00e1 sendo dilacerada e consumida pela Via L\u00e1ctea. H\u00e1 1,7 bilh\u00f5es de anos atr\u00e1s, pelas intera\u00e7\u00f5es gravitacionais entre as 2 gal\u00e1xias, as estrelas foram &#8220;arrancadas&#8221; da sua gal\u00e1xia original e atiradas violentamente para onde est\u00e3o agora.
